Glass Blowing 101

Made this float in Lincoln City. It was a lot of fun and I hope to start something up in Utah to continue doing this.






It has to anneal (cool) for 18 or so hours so we go pick it up tomorrow. Will post the finished product soon.

We stayed with B's Uncle Mike & Aunt Arel here in Salem, OR for 2 nights... bobo loooves them & we do too. Grammy and Grampy came over for dinner and little Miss Evie was a big hit. She's been a little on the fussy side the last day or two and I'm starting to suspect she is going thru a bit of a growth spurt (way more hungry more often & I know she's getting enough..) so its been a tiring couple of days. Its been so much fun & we leave for the coast tomorrow to spend a little "us" time and prepare for the next big leg of our trip up to WA.


B's grammy is now a great grammy: not a new development, she's actually held that title for 2 years now but its new to us :)

We're in Oregon!! We've decided to do a little bit of a family vacation in between Brandon's semesters and we will be on the road as a family (including Bobo) for the next week and a half...the WORST mountainous drive EVER!! we had to take a picture to show we survived!!! It should be called Satan's Pass, geez...

Who said toy stores are just for kids?


This Saturday we went and visited my good friend Amy at the toy store Blickenstaff's in Orem/Provo. This place is amazing!! We were there for a good 2 hours at least (not joking). I dont think I looked at the same toy twice. It was VERY cool. We're going to have to bring little Mirene here. It was AWESOME.
